The first Surf Coast Surf Film Festival is set to take place on the weekend of November 30th/ December 1st at the Aireys Inlet Pub.

Friday Night- Retro Night!

Murray Walding presents rare, vintage footage from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. The old school projector will feature local and international surfing, including some never released footage.

Fish Tales- Four local surfing legends will discuss the origins of surfing in the area, surfboard design and the past, present and future of surfing in Victoria, live on stage.

Saturday Night- Local Surfing on the Big Screen!

‘38 Degrees South 4: Beyond Thunderdome’ Premiere- Shot during 2011, 38 Degrees South 4: Beyond Thunderdome features local and international surfers in locations including Mexico, Morocco, Indonesia, Europe and Victoria.

Short Film Contest: Submit your own clip or see what other budding local film makers have come up with. Includes the sequel to Darren Wilcock’s ‘Light Waves’ and new films from  ‘Cos We Can’ the makers of First Love.

Plus: Otway Boardrider’s 2012 award presentation and fundraising event, prize giveaways, debut live performance by Aireys Inlet band ‘Secret Beach’ (Formally Ghost Mutt).

Free Entry. All ages welcome. All proceeds go to Otway Boardriders Club.
